In the midst of the World Cup. In my mind, the ultimate sporting event on planet earth. But I sit here writing this between the third and fourth quarters of the 2010 NBA finals. And while we’ve seen it before. This is a classic. Game 7. Lakers versus Celtics. Does it get any better than that? Obviously, I’d be way pumped if the world turned upside down, and the Wiz kids made it this far. But this is about the next best thing I could hope for. I’m in Beijing, watching this game in the morning. I couldn’t miss it. Normally I would be saying go Celtics. Because while I’m not a Boston fan. I am forever an East Coast fan. In any and every way. I like California, and many of the people that come out of it, but we know that everything is better over here over here on the right. 😉 But for some reason this year, and I’m kind of afraid to say this in a public forum…I’m feeling the Lakers. I don’t know what it is but I’m feeling the purple and gold. I wanted to write this before the game ended, just to get that out. And the Lakers are down right now, but there’s always room for a little bit of…Magic. So back to the game. Enjoy.
