If you’ve known me for a while, and you’ve ever been around while I’ve gotten dressed, or have really payed attention to what wear, then you know that I am a fan of the man now known as Ralph Lauren. Pretty much at any given time, I am wearing at least one item from the brand with the horse. And it’s been this way for a long time now, and is pretty much only getting more intense as my collection grows. I have everything, from hats, button ups, neckties, undershirts, belts, polo shirts, pants, shorts, socks, shoes, jackets, and various other odds and ends emblazoned with the iconic logo. I, in general, am not a person who thinks that you should stick to a single company for your whole life, but I officially have brand loyalty. I know that this doesn’t exactly make me a unique individual in my clothing tastes, but I really don’t care. I think that everyone should be really into Polo. And many people are. Some for different reasons, and in many different ways. I stumbled across this video below that profiles a group of people that have love for the hors, but in a much more intense way and maybe for a few different reasons. I’m not gonna say too much, about it, because everything is explained in the video. This is a trailer for the documentary of the New York City, 1990s Lo-lifes.
